Born and raised in the D.C.-Metropolitan area, Helen Stoddard is a Salvadoran-American visual and social communicator, currently based in Mexico. Her work is heavily influenced by her natural surroundings, paying homage to her roots, and participating in social change.
Helen received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from Virginia Commonwealth University-School of the Arts, #1 public art school in the United States.
Since 2013, she has lived, exhibited, and/or collaborated in Guadalajara, Mexico, Edinburgh, Scotland, Brooklyn, New York, and Phoenix, Arizona.
Helen lives in Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico with her Papillon-Jack Russell mix (Papijack), Mariposa.
